Shacman‘s new energy heavy-duty trucks have seized this opportunity: in August 2025, sales reached 1,830 units, a year-on-year increase of 325%—far exceeding the industry’s average growth rate of 169%—firmly ranking among the top in the industry. This achievement stems from Shacman’s precise scenario-based product layout. Its three major series of pure electric rechargeable and swapable heavy-duty trucks (Zhihui, Zhiyuan, and Zhihuan) are deeply customized for different application scenarios. In mining areas, new energy dump trucks are optimized for high torque output and battery durability to ensure stable operation under heavy loads and complex road conditions; meanwhile, pure electric tractor trucks at ports achieve low energy consumption and long battery life under the same operating conditions through lightweight design and intelligent system upgrades, meeting the efficient and environmentally friendly logistics needs of ports.​

In terms of technology, Shacman‘s new energy heavy-duty trucks rely on independent core three-electric integration technology, integrated with ten “ultra-intelligent” energy-saving technologies. They reduce energy consumption from multiple dimensions, including vehicle integration, system performance, and control algorithms, achieving industry-leading energy-saving effects. Furthermore, Shacman has actively engaged in building the post-market ecosystem for new energy heavy-duty trucks. Intelligent Driving Technology Put into Practice, Gaining Attention at China-Mongolia Expo​

During the 5th China-Mongolia Expo, the world’s first pre-installed mass-produced dual-redundancy L4-level intelligent driving new energy heavy-duty truck X5000E, jointly launched by Shacman and Kaer Power, became the highlight of the expo. Equipped with multiple high-performance sensors, the X5000E can achieve 360-degree accurate environmental perception even in harsh weather conditions such as sandstorms and rain/snow. Its high-computing-power calculation unit and redundant communication unit not only meet the requirements of high-level intelligent driving but also provide solid guarantees for vehicle driving safety, making it highly suitable for bulk commodity transportation scenarios.​

At the expo site, the X5000E successfully completed a dynamic demonstration of mixed intelligent platooning (“1 lead + 1 follow”), and its excellent coordinated control capabilities won high recognition from on-site audiences and industry experts. The combination of this technology with new energy attributes can not only save 83% of labor costs and reduce energy consumption by 10% but also help users save 100,000 to 200,000 yuan in annual operating costs per vehicle. Additionally, intelligent dispatching can reduce comprehensive costs by 20%, demonstrating significant advantages in cost reduction and efficiency improvement. In fact, Shacman and Kaer Power have maintained long-term in-depth cooperation, gradually promoting intelligent driving heavy-duty trucks from product development to industrialization and large-scale application. Previous achievements—such as the joint launch of the first pre-installed mass-produced model equipped with a mixed intelligent platooning system and setting a record for the largest-scale intelligent driving heavy-duty truck order in the industry—have all witnessed Shacman’s continuous efforts and leading position in the field of intelligent driving.​

Upgrading Manufacturing Processes, Smart Factories Ensuring Product Quality​

Since the first vehicle rolled off the production line in April 2022, Shacman‘s intelligent production base has become a model of intelligent manufacturing in the industry. This intelligent “dark factory” has realized “human-machine engineering automation” for 50 core processes, including front and rear axle assembly, frame flipping, and power assembly installation. It has a strong capacity of producing 50,000 heavy-duty truck chassis and 100,000 cab assemblies annually. During the production process, based on advanced digital platforms and intelligent equipment, AGV robots shuttle efficiently along preset paths; the torque error of robot bolts is accurately controlled within ±3%; the amount of oil and fluid added is precise to the milliliter level; the visual positioning system captures installation points with ultra-high precision of 0.02 millimeters; and laser radar is used for nanoscale airtightness testing. By comprehensively implementing the concepts of intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing, Shacman ensures that every heavy-duty truck possesses high quality and high consistency, laying a solid foundation for the efficient and reliable performance of vehicles in actual operations.​
