Shacman Delivers 1,000th Zhiyun Kunshi NEV, Expands X6000 Overseas & Boosts Proton’s Capital Cooperation

China’s new energy commercial vehicle industry maintains robust growth in 2026, with light truck segment sales surging 66% year-on-year as major brands accelerate scenario-specific innovation. On January 14, Shacman Commercial Vehicle delivered its 1,000th Zhiyun Kunshi new energy light truck at its Baoji assembly plant, marking a milestone in the brand’s new energy light truck expansion. The model, tailored for urban logistics, boasts core upgrades including over 50% improved heat dissipation efficiency and fast-charging capability—20 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% SOC, addressing key industry pain points of long charging time and poor heat management.

This achievement comes amid Shacman Commercial Vehicle’s strong 2025 performance: total sales rose 15% YoY, new energy vehicle sales soared 66% YoY, and exports doubled (+104% YoY). The Zhiyun Kunshi’s mass delivery also highlights Baoji’s success as Shaanxi’s only provincial industrial transformation demonstration zone, showcasing the old industrial base’s transition to green manufacturing.

Shacman’s Delong X6000 Ultra Flagship, unveiled at its 2026 Business Conference, has expanded its global footprint to 26 countries including Australia, South Africa, and Malaysia. As a core model in Shacman’s high-end strategy, it accounts for over 30% of the brand’s total overseas sales, with cumulative exports exceeding 10,000 units, signaling Shacman’s shift from “price competition” to “quality leadership” in global markets.

The X6000 integrates Oriental aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, featuring an exclusive “Yuanshan Green” color and a 16L self-developed powertrain (630HP, 2800N·m torque). Its AI intelligent energy-saving system reduces gas consumption by 3% below industry average, saving over $3,000 in annual fuel costs per vehicle. Equipped with an AI large-model smart cockpit and L2-level ADAS, it cuts manual intervention by 60% for long-haul trips, fitting high-value logistics scenarios worldwide.

Shacman’s subsidiary Proton Motors strengthened its capital layout at its 2026 Partner Conference on January 6, signing strategic cooperation agreements with multiple investment institutions and five banks for credit facilities. This capital injection, supported by Shacman’s full-chain resources, will fuel Proton’s R&D in hydrogen fuel cells and intelligent driving, as well as capacity expansion and market开拓.

Proton Motors, a key practice of Shacman’s new quality productive forces, achieved 8,000-unit sales in 2025 with hydrogen products exported in bulk.
