Shacman Delivers 102 Units to Vietnam as China Heavy-Truck Exports Rise 18.5%

China’s heavy-truck exports maintained strong growth in December 2025, with 23,000 units sold—up 18.5% year-on-year—fueled by infrastructure demand across Southeast Asia and Central Asia. New energy heavy trucks continued to drive the shift, with January-October penetration hitting 25.6% as operational costs dropped to one-third of diesel models. Shacman, holding 22.2% of China’s export market share, reinforced its global position through bulk Vietnam deliveries, new energy ecosystem expansion, and the launch of the Delong M5000 cargo truck.

102 X3000 Units Delivered to Long-Term Vietnam Partner

On December 2, Shacman completed delivery of 102 X3000 8×4 dump trucks to a Vietnamese conglomerate in the southern coastal region. The client, which first purchased Shacman H3000 models a decade ago as an agricultural cooperative, has grown into a multi-industry enterprise spanning infrastructure and mining.

Upgraded from previous generations, the X3000 units feature 400+ horsepower, enhanced powertrain efficiency, and U-shaped cargo beds made of ultra-wear-resistant steel—tailored for Vietnam’s construction boom during the dry season. “This delivery reflects 10 years of trust built on reliability,” said Hui Xiang, Shacman’s overseas brand manager, noting the vehicles will serve road and airport projects.

New Energy Ecosystem Covers Full Scenarios

At its November Wuhan New Energy Ecosystem Conference, Shacman unveiled three NEV series targeting diverse sectors:

  • Zhihui Series: Equipped with in-house tri-electric systems, it cuts energy consumption by 16% vs industry peers, ideal for coal transport with 580kW motors.
  • Zhihuan Series: Adopts battery-swapping technology enabling 3-5 minute swaps, with battery rental plans lowering costs to $0.06/km.
  • Zhiyuan Series: Features CTB 2.0 battery integration, reducing weight by 280kg for long-haul logistics.

The brand also partnered with CATL and TELD to expand charging infrastructure, supporting its 2026 target of 50,000 NEV sales.

Delong M5000 Launches for Inter-City Logistics

Shacman launched the Delong M5000 new-power cargo truck on October 15, marking its 10,000th cargo vehicle delivery in 2025. Available in diesel, gas, and electric variants (280-350hp), it cuts fuel consumption by 10% via 55 patents, saving operators over $1,500 annually.

Early orders reached 800 units within a month, driven by its 18m³ capacity and 500,000km durability rating—key for express delivery firms.

Central Asia Localization Strengthens Belt and Road Presence

Shacman’s KD plants in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan support its “one country, one vehicle” strategy, with custom tractors for Kazakh long-haul logistics and dump trucks for Tajik infrastructure. These facilities reduce logistics costs and speed up after-sales response, contributing to its 30% sales growth in non-Russian markets.

“Our scenario-specific products and localized networks align with global infrastructure needs,” a sales executive stated. With 2025 exports nearing 40,000 units, Shacman targets 25% of China’s export market by 2026.
