Shacman, a global leader in commercial vehicles, is accelerating growth in high-potential markets with Euro VI emission-compliant trucks and cutting-edge intelligent driving systems, solidifying its presence across 130+ countries worldwide. The company’s recent 1,000-truck deal in Mexico underscores its regional leadership as Latin America’s heavy-duty truck demand rises 8% year-on-year in 2025.
Latin America Breakthrough with Euro VI Solutions
At the 2024 Mexico City Global Partners Conference, Shacman signed a landmark procurement agreement with Sparta Motors for 1,000 heavy trucks—timed to address Mexico’s 2025 full switch to Euro VI standards. The customized fleet includes X3000 dump trucks and F3000 tractors equipped with Weichai WP10.380E40 engines, delivering 380hp while meeting stringent emission rules. Complemented by Hande Axle’s 11.5t dual-motor electric drive axles, these trucks reduce fuel consumption by 12% for Latin American logistics firms.
“Our long-termism philosophy in Latin America means adapting to local regulations proactively,” said a Shacman regional director. The company’s 330 global service stations, including 24 in Central and South America, ensure timely maintenance.
Intelligent Driving Tech Redefines Safety
2025 sees Shacman rolling out its next-gen intelligent driving assistance system across key markets, integrating adaptive cruise control (ACC), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and lane departure warning (LDW). Field tests confirm the ACC system cuts driver fatigue by 30% on long hauls by automating speed adjustments and maintaining 50+ meter safe distances.
The AEB system stands out with 0.2-second response times: at 60km/h, it reduces collision speeds by 80% or avoids crashes entirely. “This technology is critical for Latin America’s mountainous and busy highways,” noted a safety engineer.
Industry Collaboration Drives Innovation
Shacman’s strategic partnership with Cummins further strengthens its competitive edge. The two firms co-develop engines that boost fuel economy by 15% and reliability, supporting models like the 6000 series—equipped with 360° holographic perception for centimeter-level positioning. Collaborations with Grammer AG also enhance cabin comfort, with ergonomic seats and noise insulation for driver well-being.
With 230,000+ overseas vehicles in operation and new KD factories in Algeria and Kenya, Shacman targets 20% Latin America market share by 2026. “Intelligence and localization are our dual engines for growth,” said the company’s global sales chief.
