By the end of 2024, Shacman had successfully exported over 360,000 vehicles to global markets. Entering 2025, Shacman’s heavy-duty truck exports maintained strong momentum, with exports exceeding 14,000 units in the first quarter. As early as 1988, 13 “Yan’an brand” off-road vehicles bravely crossed national borders, marking the beginning of Shacman’s international journey. After more than 30 years of intensive cultivation, Shacman has established a presence in over 140 countries worldwide, with 40 overseas offices and comprehensive coverage of sales, service, and parts networks, providing solid support to global customers.

Hydrogen Fuel Heavy-Duty Trucks Debut in Australia, New Energy Trucks Enter International Markets

On May 30 this year, the launch ceremony of Proton Motors’ first batch of hydrogen fuel heavy-duty trucks exported to Australia (a subsidiary of Shacman) was successfully held. This not only marked Proton Motors as the first domestic enterprise to mass-produce and export hydrogen fuel heavy-duty trucks but also kicked off its new journey into the new energy heavy-duty truck markets of Australia and New Zealand.

The exported vehicles are equipped with an industry-leading mass-produced 240kW hydrogen fuel system and a new-generation electric drive axle, with a maximum range of 500 kilometers. They also feature AEBS, forward collision warning + lane departure warning, driver status monitoring, and a composite air suspension system, fully meeting the needs of various complex commercial transportation scenarios. All indicators meet or exceed local requirements.

After the launch ceremony, Proton Motors signed an intent agreement for the export of 20 hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks with Australian partners. In the future, the two parties will work together to explore the Australia-New Zealand new energy heavy-duty truck market, contributing to global energy transition and green development.

Focus on Niche Markets, “One Country, One Truck” Strategy Delivers Results

Shacman has always adhered to a market demand-oriented approach and launched the “One Country, One Truck” product strategy as early as 2018. Tailoring products to the geographical environment, climatic conditions, and transportation scenarios of different countries, Shacman has continuously optimized and upgraded its offerings.
