New energy heavy trucks led the charge, with Q3 sales jumping 181.3% YoY and September penetration hitting 28.9%—a record high. New Energy Ecosystem Takes Shape

At the Nov 9 conference themed “Upward, Forward, Renewed Protection,” Shacman launched its New Energy Heavy Truck Ecosystem Alliance with Weichai Power, TELD, and CIMC Vehicles. The alliance integrates R&D, charging infrastructure, and smart logistics—addressing core pain points like energy supply and operational costs. “New energy development isn’t a solo performance but an industry chorus,” said Yuan Hongming, Shacman’s chairman.

By October 2025, Shacman’s new energy sales neared 20,000 units, with hydrogen models leading national sales. Its 580kW electric trucks and e-axle technology (under 1.2kWh/km energy consumption) serve steel, coal, and port sectors nationwide, including Xinjiang mines and Shanghai ports.

X3000 & Desert Trucks Secure Middle East Orders

Shacman’s overseas push gained momentum with bulk deliveries of two flagship models:

X3000 Heavy Haul Tractor:

6×6 all-wheel-drive platform with 550-660hp engines, China’s first automatic transmission, and 10% lower fuel consumption. Now exported to the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Desert-Specific Trucks:

230 units delivered to Middle East clients January-April 2025, setting monthly export records with terrain-adapted tires and cooling systems.

These shipments boost Shacman’s “Belt and Road” presence—over 30% of its sales now come from 150+ overseas markets, with top shares in Kazakhstan and Algeria.

M5000 & G6000 Dominate Domestic Logistics

Domestically, Shacman expanded its lineup with two key launches:

Delong M5000 Cargo Truck:

Unveiled in Nanjing on October 15, it offers 280-350hp (diesel/gas/electric) and saves operators $2,000+ annually on fuel. Its 1.91m-high cab and lightweight design won 800 orders in one month.

G6000 Platform:

Launched in Anhui on March 18, the smart logistics model integrates Cummins engines and Faster transmissions, becoming a top choice for express delivery firms.

2026 Outlook: 30% Export Target

With 17 global KD plants and 2025 exports approaching 40,000 units, Shacman aims to derive 30% of sales from overseas by 2026. “Our ecosystem and scenario-specific models align with global decarbonization,” said a sales executive. The brand will prioritize EU certification for electric trucks and scale up Russia localization.
