China’s heavy-duty truck exports rose 3% YoY to 156,000 units in H1 2025, with non-Russian markets driving 33% growth amid infrastructure booms across Asia and Africa. Shacman, capturing 18% of China’s export share, reinforced its leadership with a landmark 30-unit electric sanitation truck order from Uzbekistan and strong sales of its regionally tailored H3000S model.
Uzbekistan Win: Zhiyun S500 Makes Eurasian Debut
Shacman secured China’s largest 2025 overseas government sanitation order—30 Zhiyun S500 electric compactors for Uzbekistan’s Environment Ministry. The model features China’s first integrated e-axle, 320km full-load range, and ultra-low energy consumption, addressing the nation’s green urbanization needs. “This breaks ground for Chinese new energy equipment in Eurasia,” noted a Shacman regional director, adding the brand now serves 115 “Belt and Road” nations.
H3000S: Customization Drives Regional Growth
The H3000S series emerged as a global bestseller, with tailored designs for diverse terrains:
Southeast Asia: Waterproof electrical systems and compact chassis helped Indonesia’s PT Transindo add 50 units, cutting monthly costs by $800 per truck.
Africa: High-torque engines (1,100 N·m) and wear-resistant tires won a 30-unit order from a Kenyan miner, supported by Nairobi’s KD plant.
Middle East: 50°C-resistant cooling systems boosted UAE port logistics orders by 28%.
New Energy & Global Footprint Expand
Shacman’s proton motors exported 240kW hydrogen trucks to Australia in May, the first Chinese mass-produced hydrogen heavy trucks to enter developed markets. The 500km-range model secured 20-unit intent orders for mining use. Domestically, its X5000 series leverages 55 fuel-saving patents to cut consumption, with 30% of exports now high-end X-series models.
With 17 overseas KD plants and 2025 orders near 40,000 units, Shacman leads in Kazakhstan, Algeria and Tajikistan. “Our ‘one country, one vehicle’ strategy matches global decarbonization demands,” said a sales executive. The brand targets 22% of China’s heavy truck exports by 2026.
