Shacman Secures 7,000 Overseas Orders in Jan 2026, Launches New 8×4 Oil Tanker & Signs 200 Autonomous Truck Deal

China’s heavy truck market kicked off a robust 2026 with a 39% YoY sales surge in January, hitting 100,000 units in wholesale volume, while export sales exceeded 26,000 units with a 20% YoY growth, driven by booming infrastructure demand in Asia and Africa. Shacman, a key player in the sector, achieves multiple high-impact milestones in early 2026: raking in nearly 7,000 overseas orders in January, launching the new Delong M6000 8×4 oil tanker compliant with National VI emission standards, and signing a strategic deal for 200 autonomous heavy trucks—cementing its leadership in global expansion, specialized vehicle innovation and intelligent logistics transformation.

7,000 Overseas Orders: A Record-Breaking Start for Global Layout
Shacman’s overseas business delivered an outstanding performance in January 2026, with cumulative overseas orders reaching nearly 7,000 units, a sharp rise from the 3,500 units in the first 20 days of the month. The highlight was the bulk delivery of 100 X5000 tractors to Vietnam, marking the brand’s first 100-unit delivery in the Southeast Asian market this year. Africa market saw actual sales of over 3,000 heavy trucks, while hundreds of units were ordered by Malaysian customers and sales in Central and South America soared YoY.
The brand’s localized strategy and scenario-adapted products have won wide recognition in emerging markets. Its oil tankers and hazardous chemical transport vehicles, optimized for high-temperature, cold and off-road conditions, have become the first choice for energy and infrastructure projects in Central Asia and Africa. Backed by 17 global KD plants, Shacman has significantly shortened delivery cycles and improved on-site after-sales support, building a solid foundation for further expanding its global market share.
New 8×4 Oil Tanker: National VI Compliance & High Efficiency for Energy Logistics
Shacman officially launched the new Delong M6000 8×4 oil tanker (SHN5320GYYVR6269) in early 2026, a new flagship product for petroleum product transportation equipped with a Weichai WP8.350E68 National VI engine delivering 350 horsepower. With a 26.9 cubic meter tank volume and a 10-speed transmission, the model features a high-strength tank body with anti-wave plates, effectively reducing fuel sloshing and improving driving stability on complex roads.
Compliant with the latest national emission and safety regulations for dangerous goods transport, the oil tanker is equipped with anti-static grounding chains, pneumatic bottom valves and pressure relief breather valves, forming a multi-layer safety protection system. Its lightweight design and fuel-efficient powertrain not only reduce operational costs for logistics enterprises but also meet the industry’s green and low-carbon development requirements, making it an ideal solution for oil depot trunk transportation and field fuel supply.
200 Autonomous Truck Deal: Accelerating Intelligent Logistics Upgrade
On January 29, Shacman signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Karl Power in Xi’an for 200 autonomous heavy trucks, marking a key step in the commercialization of its future transportation robot project. The two parties will integrate their technological and market resources to accelerate the R&D and mass production of autonomous heavy trucks, focusing on optimizing unmanned transportation solutions for ports, mines and long-haul logistics scenarios.
This cooperation builds on Shacman’s rich experience in intelligent vehicle R&D. The brand’s autonomous heavy trucks have undergone rigorous road tests and market verification, with advanced perception and decision-making systems ensuring high safety and reliability in complex working conditions. The launch of the 200-unit order project will further promote the intelligent upgrade of the logistics and transportation industry and create a new model for efficient and low-cost cargo transport.
Shacman’s January performance also shined in the domestic market, with 15,000 units sold and a 20% YoY growth, ranking among the top four in the industry. “Our record overseas orders, new oil tanker launch and autonomous truck deal reflect Shacman’s strength in technological innovation and global layout,” a Shacman executive stated. “We will continue to focus on customer demand and launch more high-quality products to lead the high-quality development of the heavy truck industry.”
