Shacman Targets 50k NEV Sales in 2026 as China Exports Near 320k

China’s heavy-truck market is poised for a record 320,000 exports in 2025, with new energy heavy trucks (NEVT) emerging as a key driver—1.37 million units sold Jan-Sept 2025, up 184% year-on-year, with penetration hitting 24.1% to surpass light-duty NEVs.

Shacman reinforced its leadership at the Wuhan New Energy Ecosystem Conference, unveiling three NEV series, securing a 30-unit Uzbekistan order, and partnering with financial firms to accelerate global expansion.

Three NEV Series Launch for Full-Scenario Coverage

On Dec 1, Shacman unveiled its Zhihui, Zhiyuan, Zhihuan NEV series targeting diverse logistics needs:

Zhihui Series: Features 580kW motors and integrated e-axles, cutting energy consumption by 16% for coal and mining transport. Its steel-aluminum battery frame reduces weight by 600-700kg, boosting annual revenue by $1,900 per vehicle.

Zhihuan Series: Adopts 900A fast-charging tech and 3-5 minute battery swaps, ideal for  transport with high efficiency demands.

Zhiyuan Series: Uses CTB 2.0 battery integration for 800km range, tailored for long-haul express logistics.

The brand also launched a New Energy Ecosystem Alliance with charging firms and battery suppliers to solve refueling pain points, supporting its 2026 target of 50,000 NEV sales.

30 Electric Sanitation Trucks Win Uzbekistan Bid

Shacman secured a landmark order for 30 Zhiyun S500 electric garbage trucks from Uzbekistan’s Environment Ministry—China’s largest overseas government bid for sanitation equipment in 2025. The 320km-range vehicles feature in-house e-axle tech and low energy consumption, meeting the country’s green infrastructure needs.

“This delivery strengthens our Belt and Road footprint,” said a Shacman overseas director. The brand now serves 150+ countries via 17 KD plants, with 2025 exports nearing 40,000 units.

M5000 New-Power Truck Gains Domestic Traction

Following its Oct 15 launch, the Delong M5000 cargo truck (280-350hp, diesel/gas/electric variants) secured 800 orders in one month. Equipped with 55 fuel-saving patents, it cuts fuel use by 10% and saves operators over $1,500 annually—key for express delivery firms drawn to its 18m³ capacity.

Financial Partnership Boosts Service Transition

Shacman deepened collaboration with Deyin Tianxia to offer “vehicle + energy + finance” packages, including inventory financing and lease-to-own models. This shifts its focus from vehicle sales to integrated logistics solutions, aligning with global fleet management trends.

“Our product-ecosystem dual strategy matches decarbonization and efficiency demands,” a sales executive stated. With NEVT penetration forecast to rise further, Shacman aims 25% of China’s 320,000-unit export market by 2026.
