Shacman Unveils C Series Power & EV Sanitation Trucks, Overseas Orders Hit 40,000

Shacman stole the spotlight at the 2025 Wuhan International Commercial Vehicle Show with new powertrain launches and eco-friendly models, while its global export momentum accelerated—securing nearly 40,000 overseas orders in 2025 amid the industry’s “high-end, intelligent, green” transition . The dual breakthroughs in technology and market expansion reinforce its leading role in China’s heavy-duty truck export wave.

Wuhan Show: C Series Power & Integrated EVs Debut

The star of Shacman’s booth was the new Shacman Cummins C Series powertrain, covering 4-15L displacements to serve 31 market segments . Equipped with adaptive torque control and thermal management systems, it cuts fuel consumption by 5% and reduces noise by 1.5 decibels. “This integrates Shacman’s military-grade manufacturing with Cummins’ century-old expertise,” said Yuan Hongming, Shacman’s chairman .

In collaboration with CIMC Vehicles, Shacman launched new energy integrated vehicles, including a cold-chain truck with 61.2 cubic meter capacity and ±0.5℃ temperature control . The 3.0-generation models feature 700kg weight reduction versus competitors, boosting annual profits by $3,000 per unit. Notably, the H6000E electric dump truck achieves 8% higher energy recovery efficiency .

Overseas Win: 30 EV Sanitation Trucks to Uzbekistan

Shacman secured its largest 2025 overseas government order for 30 Zhiyun S500 electric compactor garbage trucks in Uzbekistan . The model uses China’s first integrated e-axle technology, delivering 320km full-load range and ultra-low energy consumption. “This marks our breakthrough in Eurasian environmental equipment markets,” a regional sales director noted.

The order aligns with Shacman’s “One Country, One Truck” strategy, which has driven its presence in 150 countries . Flagship X6000 trucks now export to 26 nations, while new energy models enter 20+ countries including the UK and Morocco .

Industry Trend: Shacman Outpaces Market Growth

As global heavy-duty truck makers grapple with transition, Shacman’s domestic orders surged 82% year-on-year to 77,000 units by October . Shacman Cummins sales jumped 82.1% to 10,727 units, lifting market share by 3.3 percentage points .

Overseas, localized production in 17 countries (e.g., South Africa, Morocco) cuts delivery times by 35%  . “Our mix of fuel-efficient powertrains and new energy solutions meets diverse market needs,” Yuan added .
