China’s commercial vehicle industry steps into a value-driven new cycle in 2026, with new energy penetration expected to hit 35%-40% in the heavy truck segment and overseas markets emerging as a core growth engine. Industry forecasts project domestic heavy truck sales to reach 800,000 to 1.1 million units this year, while exports are poised to exceed one million units. Shacman kicks off the year with remarkable achievements, launching a full-spectrum product lineup at its 2026 Partner Conference and securing over 3,500 overseas orders in the first 20 days of January, strengthening its leading position in global green and high-end markets.
Overseas Start: 3,500+ Orders Across Global Markets
A fleet of 100 Shacman X5000 tractors recently departed from Xi’an Commercial Vehicle Industrial Park to Vietnam, marking another bulk delivery to Southeast Asia. This milestone caps a stellar start: in just 20 days of January, Shacman signed hundreds of orders in Malaysia, achieved over 1,600 units in actual sales in Africa, and saw significant year-on-year growth in Central and South America, with cumulative overseas orders exceeding 3,500 units.
With 36 years of overseas experience, Shacman’s products cover more than 140 countries and regions, with global ownership surpassing 360,000 units. The X5000 tractors for Vietnam are tailored to local logistics routes, featuring reliable powertrains and adaptive configurations, further consolidating its market share in Southeast Asia’s booming logistics sector.
2026 Conference: New Energy & Gas Flagships Debut
At its 2026 Partner Conference held in Baoji on January 20, Shacman showcased a comprehensive product matrix covering new energy, gas and fuel models. The star model Zhiyun S300 EXPRESS premium electric light truck leads the new energy lineup, equipped with a 140kW CATL battery and 217HP motor, boasting 8% lower energy consumption than competitors, plus an intelligent cockpit and L2-level advanced driver assistance system.
The gas vehicle segment sees the launch of the Yan’an S700 high-end tractor, powered by a new 15NFE 630HP engine with an integrated powertrain, reducing gas consumption by 5%. The new Deyu Q500 wide-body AMT gas tractor achieves an ultra-low curb weight of 8.27 tons (200kg lighter than peers) and optimized total cost of ownership via custom calibration strategies.
The Zhiyun Kunshi battery-swapping light truck also made its debut, featuring a 150-second fast battery-swapping solution that addresses refueling anxiety for urban logistics users, aligning with the industry’s booming swapping market which is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan in 2026.
Aligning with Industry Trends: Value Competition & Global Layout
Shacman’s strategy aligns with 2026 industry trends, as the sector shifts from scale expansion to value creation. Domestically, the brand’s scenario-specific products, such as the Delong G300 Pro light truck with a 500,000km extended maintenance commitment, cater to diverse market demands and optimize user costs.
Internationally, Shacman continues to deepen its global footprint, transitioning from product export to industrial chain localization. Backed by robust product strength and a mature service network, the brand is well-positioned to seize opportunities in both domestic and overseas markets.
“Our new product lineup and overseas orders reflect our commitment to innovation and global expansion,” a Shacman executive stated. “We will leverage 2026 industry trends to deliver high-value solutions for customers worldwide.”
