Shacman’s 2025 NEV Sales Surge 208%, Zhiyun Kunshi Hits 1,000th Delivery & X6000 Secures EU Certification

China’s heavy truck industry achieved remarkable green growth in 2025, with Shaanxi province leading the charge—total auto output reached 172.5 units, including 109.5 million new energy vehicles (NEVs), accounting for 63.5% of the province’s total and over 6% of China’s national NEV production. Amid this boom, Shacman (Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Co., Ltd.) stood out with triple breakthroughs: a 208.2% year-on-year surge in NEV production, the 1,000th delivery of its Zhiyun Kunshi electric light truck, and EU WVTA certification for the X6000 tractor—strengthening its position in both domestic and global high-end markets.

2025 NEV Sales: 2.57k Units, Up 246.4% YoY
Shacman’s 2025 performance underscored its leadership in green transformation. The company produced 175,100 vehicles and sold 176,100 units (+23.3% YoY), with NEV production hitting 25,800 units (+208.2% YoY) and sales reaching 25,700 units (+246.4% YoY). Its subsidiary, Shacman Commercial Vehicles, also shone: 28,600 units produced (+29.5% YoY) and 28,000 units sold (+15.1% YoY), including 13,000 NEVs produced (+81.8% YoY) and 11,900 sold (+86.6% YoY). Notably, its export business soared 104%, highlighted by a record-breaking order of 30 pure electric compactors for Uzbekistan—the largest overseas government tender in China’s sanitation equipment sector.
Zhiyun Kunshi: 1,000th Delivery Marks NEV Milestone
On December 26, 2025, Shacman Commercial Vehicles celebrated the 1,000th roll-off and delivery of its Zhiyun Kunshi electric light truck at its Baoji assembly plant, in a ceremony with Didi Ground Transportation. The model, built on an advanced skateboard chassis, features a disruptive three-electric system, dual-motor oil-cooled circulation, and an efficient thermal management system—cutting energy consumption by 4-5 kWh/100km in North China’s low temperatures. Its 120kWh battery delivers over 300km highway range and 400km urban range, while the 170kWh high-capacity version caters to long-haul needs. This milestone followed Shacman’s Zhiyun S300 Tianxing’s sweep of 6 awards (including All-Round Gold) at the 2025 NEVC New Energy Commercial Vehicle Challenge, proving its tech prowess in efficiency, range, and safety.
X6000 Tractor: EU WVTA Certification for Global Expansion
In January 2026, Shacman’s Delong X6000 4×2 tractor earned the EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA), a “golden key” for sales and registration in 27 EU countries. This certification, covering over 40 rigorous tests (from cab collision to emission control), confirms compliance with the latest EU R131/02 regulations for Automatic Emergency Braking Systems (AEBS). Equipped with a powerful powertrain and advanced safety features, the X6000 now competes in Europe’s high-value logistics market, complementing Shacman’s 40,000+ overseas orders in 2025.
Backed by Shaanxi’s 13.1% YoY growth in auto industry output value, Shacman’s 2026 outlook remains strong. “Our NEV surge, Zhiyun Kunshi milestone, and X6000’s EU entry reflect our commitment to high-quality, green development,” a Shacman executive stated. “We’ll keep driving innovation to meet global demand for sustainable transport.”
