In Tajikistan, one out of every two Chinese heavy trucks comes from Shaanxi Automobile Group. The proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative has made Shaanxi Auto heavy truck have more and more high visibility and recognition in the world. In the five Central Asian countries, Shaanxi Auto has a market share of more than 40% in China’s heavy truck brands, ranking first in China’s heavy truck brands.
“The biggest feature of Shaanxi Auto Group export is that our products for each country are customized, because each country’s demand is different. For example, Kazakhstan has a relatively large land area, so it needs to use tractors to pull long-distance logistics. And the vans, like ours, are the stars of Uzbekistan. For Tajikistan, they have more mechanical and electrical projects, so the demand for our dump truck is large.” According to Hui Xiang, Shaanxi Auto has accumulated more than 5,000 vehicles in the Tajikistan market, with a market share of more than 60%, ranking first among Chinese heavy truck brands. In recent years, Shaanxi Auto has been grasping the opportunities in the international market, implementing the product strategy of “one country, one vehicle” for different countries, different customer needs and different transportation environments, creating tailormade vehicle overall solutions for customers, striving for overseas market shares in Europe, America, Japan and South Korea, and enhancing the brand influence of Chinese heavy trucks.
At present, Shaanxi Auto has a perfect international marketing network and a standardized global service system overseas, covering Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and other regions. At the same time, Shaanxi Auto Group has built localized factories in 15 countries jointly building the “Belt and Road” Initiative, including Algeria, Kenya and Nigeria. It has 42 overseas marketing zones, more than 190 first-level dealers, 38 parts center warehouses, 97 overseas parts exclusive stores, and more than 240 overseas service outlets. Its products are exported to more than 130 countries and regions, and its export volume remains at the forefront of the industry. Among them, SHACMAN, the overseas brand of SHACMAN heavy truck, has been sold to more than 140 countries and regions around the world, with more than 230,000 vehicles in overseas markets. The export volume and export value of SHACman heavy truck are firmly in the forefront of the domestic industry.
The reporter learned that at the end of October, Shaanxi Auto Group went to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Belarus with the delegation of Xi ‘an City to conduct investigation and exchange, and further strengthen the feasibility of cooperation and exchange with local countries. By the end of October this year, Shaanxi Auto has sold 46,000 heavy trucks, an increase of 70% year-on-year, with sales revenue of 14.4 billion yuan, an increase of 76% year-on-year.
